Telenor offers a variety of solutions to satisfy the legitimate need to handle e-mails on mobile phones.

  1. BlackBerry® Solution is a mobile office in your pocket. The service enables you to access your mailing system, your calendar, your contacts, and your tasks via a wireless connection, using a BlackBerry® device, which is a special type of mobile phone.
  2. We recommend the Telenor Contact service if you need instant access to your home or office e-mails on your mobile phone. The service offers access to the functions of Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Notes mailing systems via a wireless connection.
  3. If you do not have a BlackBerry® or Nokia Messaging®-enabled phone but you would still like to access your public web-based e-mails directly on your mobile phone, Telenor Mobile E-mail is the right choice for you.
  4. Just like with any other website, you can access your e-mail account registered in a free mailing system using a web browser developed for mobile phones (small-scale Internet), and you can access the following on the Go portal (under menu item “MMS”, “E-MAIL”):

TelenorPOP3

Using TelenorPOP3 you can access e-mail accounts registered in any mailing system on your mobile. To be able to access your e-mail account, you need to enter your user name, e-mail address, and password registered in the given mailing system, as well as the POP3 server for the system.

In addition to reading your e-mails, you can also forward them or reply to them. If you send an e-mail using the Telenor POP3, in addition to your e-mail address, your subscriber call number will also be displayed in the content section of the sent e-mail. The subscriber call number will be displayed in both new and reply e-mails. There is no option to block caller line identification. If you do not wish to have your subscriber call number displayed on the recipient’s phone, visit the web or WAP page of your mailing system’s server or use the Telenor E-mail Studio Service where you can provide the data you want displayed.

Your call number will be displayed at the bottom of the mail in the following format:
Sender of the mail: Owner of GSM number xxxx xxx-xxxx:
The mail has been forwarded to you using the e-mailing service of Go portal.

If you decide not to accept the conditions of delivery, you will still be able to access Telenor POP3 but not the mail sending function.

Telenor POP3 only provides access to the e-mail account. In the event of any related problems, you will still need to contact your e-mail service provider.

Settings Receiving e-mails:

using a TELENOR e-mail account:

- POP3port: 110
- IMAP szerver: mail telenor.hu
- IMAP port: 143

using all OTHER e-mail accounts:

- the name of the POP3/IMAP server will be provided by your e-mail service provider

Sending e-mails:

Sending e-mails via a TELENOR internet connection

- SMTP szerver: mail.telenor.hu
- SMTP port: 25

Using OTHER internet connection:

- the name of the smtp server will be provided by your e-mail service provider.
