Harmonised roaming fees

Don’t worry about using your mobile abroad: tariff zones make controlling your spending easy.

Features

• We have divided the world into four tariff zones. Zone 4 is regions without terrestrial coverage where a satellite system provides telephony service.

• Each tariff zone has four per-minute fees depending on which zone you call from that country. However, these per-minute fees are the same at any time of day and in any network.
• No registration is required to take advantage of these lower rates, as they are automatically provided for all our customers.¹

• Our roaming rates are valid for calls placed between any two EU member states including Hungary.

• Low call rates apply to tariff zone 1, which in addition to EU member states includes some popular overseas holiday destinations. You can make and receive calls or send text messages in those countries without having to worry about the cost.

Traffic fees are measured by the second in the following cases:

• Calls made from zone 1 to zone 1 and
• calls received in zone 1 from any zone.

If you make a call from Zone 1, the first 30 second of the call is always billed in one block.

Each unit begun is chargeable.

Traffic fees are measured by the minute in the following cases:

• From zone 1 to zones 2 and 3,
• Calls made from zones 2 and 3, and
• calls received in zones 2 and 3.

Further information

Basic principles that generally apply to all calls made from and received abroad:

• Domestic calls are paid for by the caller. However, in the case of “roaming” calls received abroad, the called party also pays for the call.
• The fees for calls made from and received aborad and other services used abroad (e.g. sending text messages) are paid in HUF in Hungary.
• In accordance with the currently effective Act LXXIV of 1992 on value added tax, the fees for calls and other services are subject to the value added tax applicable to telecommunication services.
• The discounts on tariff packages do not apply to calls made from or received abroad.
