Award 2: Digital Hungary Small Business Awards

What are we looking for?

• We are seeking to foster dynamism in Hungarian small business to drive economic growth.
• One of the fastest-growing areas of the internet-driven economy is small business (up to 44,000 start-ups could be created per year by 2020 as a result of the internet).
• The goal is to foster best practice in the adoption of internet and digital technology, especially mobile technology.

How will the awards work in practice?

• We want to use the magazine article to hear from small businesses (less than a 100 employees) about how they are making notable and/or innovative transitions in the adoption of broadband internet and digital technology.

What will we do?

• We will provide a grant to the 1-3 firms with the best ideas. The awards will be given at the Digital Hungary conference in autumn 2010.
