Award 1: Digital Hungary Science and Technology Awards

What are we looking for?

• To foster the ‘next generation’ of ground-breaking digital ideas (focusing on mobile technology and mobile internet) to power the economy over the next decade.
• To re-awaken Hungary’s proud traditions of science and technology leadership by fostering the next generation of digital/internet ideas.

How will the awards work in practice?

• We will ask people to submit idea proposals to us (no more than 250 words). Special emphasis will be placed on the best mobile digital ideas, but we consider other digital ideas too.
• The best 10 participants will be invited to the last round to pitch their ideas to the judges.

What will we do?

• Telenor will co-fund the top 3-5 ideas that can be realised within the 2020 time-frame. The awards will be given at the Digital Hungary conference in autumn 2010.
