Award 3: Digital Hungary Awards for fostering e-inclusivity in Hungary

What are we looking for?

• For Digital Hungary to succeed, we must seek to bridge the Hungarian ‘digital divide’.
• The goal is to promote e-inclusivity for all to foster social and economic transformation in Hungary. All citizens should have access to, and be able to reap the benefits of mobile technology and the internet. This will not only boost social and economic performance, but will also transform the quality of individual lives.

How will the awards work in practice?

• We want to hear from public and private sector organisations which are leading the way, through innovative and ground-breaking ideas, to foster on-line inclusivity for citizens who would otherwise not have internet access.

What will we do?

• We will provide a grant to the 1-3 organisations with the best ideas. The awards will be given at the Digital Hungary conference in autumn 2010.
