Network operations account for around 82% of our total emissions. In an effort to reduce emissions, we increase the energy efficiency of our network and explore renewable energy sources.
Given the size of our network, even minor changes in components have the potential to significantly reduce our energy requirements. For this reason, we use network components with an improved design that require less or simpler maintenance and offer an outstanding level of energy efficiency.
We have installed solar and wind-powered base stations to explore how we can better rely on renewable energy sources and reduce our consumption of fossil fuel.
